GRIT AIN’T EASY. LIFE AIN’T EASY. STOP BEING A LITTLE BITCH.

We all want to be successful and good at what we do, but realistically and honestly speaking, do we really work hard on ourselves to reach our goals? This question does not need an instant answer. It needs a profound sightful look into one’s self in order to decide what kind of person are you. You have to admit it if you are a quitter. You have to admit it if you never finish the tasks that you begin. You have to confront yourself with all that you are and all that you are not to be able to change, develop yourself toward your goal. Your goals don’t care how are you feeling today, nor how when the scissors fell, you did not feel like getting out of bed this morning.

If you have a dream, put it into motion. How? Write that shit down and get your ass moving, working on it every single day. No breaks. Consistency and commitment are the keys. Be gritty. Don’t give up no matter how hard it is. Actually, it should be hard, or it won’t change you. If it is not challenging you, it is not changing you.

Stop making excuses. Stop dwelling into long static phases of numbness. Don’t get stuck at one point along the way. Don’t be afraid to get out of your comfort zone. Stop belittling your abilities. You will be amazed by what you can do and achieve to the point of wondering how did you manage without the feeling of being successful throughout all these years.

Someday you will feel like a failure. Don’t. Beleive in yourself and understand that these downs are part of the process to go up, to reach your aim. You have to be stronger than your cosy bed in winter, and you have to be stronger than that ice cream you are craving. This pasta’s taste will last for 15 minutes and the calories will take long to be burned. The times you skip learning at will pass anyway, so you’d better be learning something, doing something, achieving something.

People are mostly drawn to instant results, but this is not how great achievements are made. There is no shortcut to success; you have to cherish every step along the way, even the ones full of cactus thorns. To reach something that you’ve never reached before, you gotta do something that you’ve never done before, like consistency, commitment, and above all grit.

Your hard work won’t be lost nor in vain. You will be rewarded for every sweat. For every outing that you called off. For every meal that you skipped or ignored, For every family gathering that you came late to. You will be rewarded because you worked hard and did the best. You will learn through the journey that the end-result is way more important than the now’s happiness. You’ll understand how self-control has been the tool all along and you just did not know that you had it in you. Bring your best qualities to the surface. Learn to learn, and learn some more. Appreciate your failures and do not be afraid to. Failures are the only evidence that you were trying so hard and you did not know at first, but you brought yourself up and tried again till you got it correctly, greatly.
